William A. Byrne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William A. “Tony” Byrne, 66, of Eastvale, passed away June 21, 2022 peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born November 29, 1955 in Rochester, he was the son of the late William R. Byrne and the late Sydney Hall Byrne Brayshaw, and his step father, the late Jack Stevens. He was a retired employee of J&L Steel, Aliquippa, and the Beaver County Fruit Company, Beaver Falls. He was a member of the New Galilee Church of the Nazarene, the Beaver Falls Boat Club, a former member of the Sacred Piston Car Club, Pittsburgh. He enjoyed working on his 1955 Chevy, and Harley Davidson motorcycle, and loved attending car cruises for 39 years. He enjoyed going to truck pulls, and watching his son, Anthony compete in the truck pulls. He loved his granddaughter Brooke with all his heart, his one and only “baby girl.” He was never one to say “no” when his wife, Marie would drag him places or his sons Anthony or Mark would convince him to come look at another project vehicle or anything they were interested in, they just wanted him involved as much as possible. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marie E. (Pingatore) Byrne. He is also survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Anthony M. and Melissa Byrne, North Sewickley Twp., and Mark Robert Byrne, and Britney Beatrice, Beaver Falls; one granddaughter, Brooke Byrne, North Sewickley Twp.; two sisters and one brother in law, Charlotte McLaughlin, Monaca, and Darlene and Steve Yount, Beaver; a brother and sister in law, Ted and Debbie Stevens, Darlington; a brother in law and sister in law, Kenneth and Kathy Pingatore, Conway; special friends, Pastor Andy Russell, North Sewickley Twp., Ray Giles, Chippewa, Steven Yount, Beaver, “ his adopted daughter,” Taylor R. Murphy, North Sewickley and numerous nieces, nephews and other friends; his canine companions, Sammy Jo and Ruby Rose as well as his feline companion, Jax. township.” He was preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Jackie, and Dominic LaScassa and a brother in law, Dave “Puff” McLaughlin. Tony’s wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
