Veronica A. Pavelek Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Veronica A. “Birdie” Pavelek, 94, Beaver Falls, formerly of Rochester Twp., passed away December 17, 2020 in Beaver Valley Rehab, South Beaver Twp. Born August 28, 1926, in Harmar, PA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Judith Paloni Mazzetti. She was a homemaker and housewife, a member of St. Felix Roman Catholic Parish, Freedom, and a member of the Christian Mothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Pavelek, Sr., in 1985. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis J. Pavelek in 2020; three brothers, James, Sonny, and Angelo Mazzetti; and a sister and brother in law, Anita and Sam DeMailo. Surviving is one son, Andrew P. Pavelek, Jr. and his fiancée, Lynda Dixon, Beaver Falls; one daughter and son in law, Anita L. & Ralph Cananzi, Beaver Falls; four grandchildren, Tracy Zoppelt and her husband, Jon, Chippewa, Brad Pavelek and his wife, Nicole, Brian Pavelek and his wife, Lori, all of Brighton Twp., and Carmen A. Cananzi, Beaver Falls; a daughter in law, Cindee Pavelek, Beaver; eight great grandchildren, Wolfgang Zoppelt, Bronwyn Zoppelt, Emma, Dane, Cody, Hunter, and Garrett Pavelek, and Santino Cananzi; one sister, Loretta Swigart, South Carolina as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Due to the COVID19 restrictions, there will be no public visitation, a private blessing service was held Saturday at 11:30 AM in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester, for Veronica and her son, Dennis. Officiating was Fr. Mark Carter, St. Felix R.C. Church. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom. The family wishes contributions go to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
