Richard K. "Dick" Beglin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Richard K. "Dick" Beglin, 92, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away March 18, 2022, in the Villa St. Joseph Personal Care Unit, Baden, Pa. He was born December 27, 1929 in Aliquippa. The son of the late Ira H. and Priscilla Kennedy Beglin. Dick was a retired employee of St. Joe Lead Corporation, Potter Twp.., and was also a self employed contractor. He was a member of the New Sewickley Presbyterian Church, a United States Army veteran and was member of the Rochester Turners and the Big Knob Grange. Dick was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Mary E. Schweinsberg Beglin and a sister, Barbara Keck. Dick is survived by three daughters and two sons in law, Linda J. and Hank McPherson of Hudson, Florida, Pam K. and Bob Licht, Cranberry Twp., Terri L. Holman and her fiance Jim Ploof., North Sewickley Twp., two sons and a daughter in law, Craig R. Beglin of New Sewickley Twp., John W. and Beverly Beglin, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, eight grand children, Heather, Kelly, Sean, Veronica, Gregory , Brad, Erica, Misha and 15 great grand children as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Per Dick's wishes there will be no visitation however a memorial service for both Dick and Mary will be held at a later date. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Concordia at Villa St. Joseph, 1040 State Street, Baden, Pa. 15005 or to Wounded Warriors, p.o. box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
