    Naomi B. Toth

    September 10, 1926 - February 22, 2022

    Naomi B. Toth, 95, a life time resident of Beaver Falls, passed away February 22, 2022 at the Villa St. Joseph, Baden. Born September 10, 1926 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Sr. and Catherine Schmidtt Brown. She was a retired manager with CVS Pharmacy at the age of 72, in the former Gee Bee Plaza, presently the Walmart Plaza, Monaca. She was a former manager of the Sun Drug Store and Revco Drug Store, which then became CVS. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Chippewa, and an honorary member of Holy Family R.C. Church, New Brighton, where her membership was bestowed upon her by Father Tom Kredel, whom she loved and who provided for Naomi’s husband’s spiritual needs, as Andrew was a member of Father Tom’s parish. Naomi attended Holy Family R.C. Church and participated in the parish bingos. She was a member of the County Board of Elections, the Beaver Falls Civil Service, where she helped to test Beaver Falls Fireman and Police, a member of Sim’s Classic Cars Bowling League on Wednesdays at noon, the Beaver Valley Choral Society, and a member of the Friday lunch crew with her husband. Naomi was a great Steeler’s fan, and enjoyed watching many games on Sunday at her nephew’s Orlando and Cheri Griff’s home. She donated to many causes, especially the veteran organizations, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Kids in Appalachia, to name a few. Naomi lived her life to the fullest until the age of 92 when she fell and broke her hip. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Toth in 2009. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Fred Jr., George T., John H., and Robert L. Brown. She is survived by one sister, Lois Meredith, Rapid City, South Dakota; two sisters in law, Jean Toth, Chippewa and Anne Toth, Seattle, Washington, her caregivers, her nephew, William, J. Griff, Rochester Twp., and her niece, Sharon Turek and her husband, Stan, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her close friends, Helen Krisa, Evie Pauletich, and Tom and Linda Bradshaw, in addition to numerous other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester. A service will be held Saturday, 11 am in the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rochester, Rev. Gregory S. Clagg to officiate. Interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 2679 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Cambridge Village for her care of three years, and most recently the Villa St. Joseph, the Ebensburg House nurses, aides, and hospice for her last days in comfort.
