    Mary Ann Malagise

    February 18, 1941 - March 28, 2021

    Mary Ann Malagise, 80, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away March 28, 2021 at the Lakeview Personal Care Home, Darlington. Born February 18, 1941 in Freedom, she was the daughter of the late Peter S. and “Vi” Sinic Bartolovic. She was a retired Sales Clerk and Men’s Department Manager with the J.C. Penney’s Store, Conway and the Beaver Valley Mall, a member of St. Felix R.C. Church, Freedom, Our Lady of the Valley Parish and Mary was an avid bingo player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Malagise in 2015. She is survived by one son & daughter in law, Mark J. Sr. and Tracy Malagise, Conway; three daughters and sons in law, Marie Alaine and Richard Saunders, Monaca, Gayle L. and Glenn Silverman, Freedom, Kristie L. Malagise, New Sewickley Twp., and her boyfriend, Dennis O. Bush, McDonald, PA; eight grandchildren, Kevin Saunders and his wife, Amanda, East Millboro, PA, Dustin Saunders and his wife, Jenna, Industry, Christy Saunders and Chad, Monaca, Kara M. Erin and her husband, Andrew, Brighton Twp., Mark J. Malagise, Jr. and his wife, Riane, Beaver, Cory J. Malagise, Waco, TX, and Viola and Vivian Fassett, both of New Sewickley Twp.; three step grandchildren, Jennifer Kosek, and her husband, Chris, West View, Jamie Kingston, and her husband, Sam, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Joseph Taormina and his wife, Cassie, Zelienople; nineteen great grandchildren, Oliver, Nora, Cecilia, Cooper, Adrienne, Graham, Annie Jo, Roman, Paxton, Preston, Kaitlyn, Kane, Link, Raina, Colt, Paislee, Grey, Loviano, and Jack; two sisters, and one brother in law, Margie R. Howe and her husband, Bud, Rochester, and Kathy L. Lucas, New Sewickley Twp.; one brother and sister in law, Bernie J. Bartolovic, and his wife, Stella, East Rochester, and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers in law and sisters in law. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward “Sluggie” and Pete Bartolovic, and a nephew, Bernie Bartolovic. Friends will be received Monday, April 5, 2021 from 3 – 7 PM at the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 349 Adams Street, Rochester. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, at 10 am at St. Felix R.C. Church, Freedom, Fr Mark Carter, OFM, Cap., officiating. Due to the Covid 19 concerns, face masks and social distancing are required. Internment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
