Mark E. Decker, 64, of New Sewickley Twp., formerly of Alamogordo, N.M., where he had formerly been stationed with the Holloman Air Force Base, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born July 16, 1953, in Beaver Falls, a son of Doris Stanford Decker Eaton the late Paul D. Decker Sr., he was an employee with FedEx and formerly was an insurance agent with Seely Insurance Company and Farmers Insurance Company in New Mexico. He was an Air Force Vietnam veteran and had attended the Northway Christian Church, Rochester. Mark was an avid golfer and loved hunting and being outdoors with his horses. Surviving are his life companion, Joyce (Sullivan) Beglin; a daughter and-son, Lisa Kaye and Eric O’Connell, Arizona; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald P. and Heidi Decker, Arizona; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Veronica R. and Tom Houy, New Sewickley Twp.; a stepson, Greg W. Beglin and his fiancée Marissa, Conway; eight grandchildren, Aaron C. Decker, Kayelyn O’Connell, Cameron Decker, Blair Decker, Elizabeth, Lila, Hannah and Sara; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Vickie Decker, Paul E. Jr. and Karen Decker, Keith and Angel Decker, Kevin and Lisa Eaton, Chuck and Alene Eaton, and Guy and Cindy Eaton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Brenda Probst and Karen and Edward Maurer; numerous nieces and nephews, especially his beloved nephews, Jason, Joey and Brian, to whom he was very close, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Charles Probst. Friends will be received Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where a service will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. The Rev. Rick Raines will officiate. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministry Inc., Good Samaritan Hospice c/o Beaver IPU, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
