    Margaret 'Peggy' Fillipelli Pedaline

    July 27, 1933 - February 28, 2018

    Margaret ‘Peggy’ Fillipelli Pedaline, 84, formerly of Rochester Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in LC Gericare, New Castle, Pa. Born July 27, 1933, in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late Giusseppe and Giovannina Negro Fillipelli, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Parish, Rochester, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was a member of the Rochester Twp. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a social member of the Rochester Twp. Firemen’s Club. She was a past officer with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rochester VFW Post 128; a member of the Rochester BPOE Lodge 283 Ladies Auxiliary, and a former officer with the Beaver County Firemen’s Relief Association. An avid bowler, she was a former member of the Beaver County Bowling Association, where she had served as a past officer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Pedaline, in 2009; two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Rosemary and Amerigo Fratangelo, Angeline and Robert Roser, and Nick Bilotto, and three brothers, Domonic, Ernest and Frank Fillipelli. Surviving are a daughter, Robin L. Cheney, Elkton, Md.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph R. and Susan H. Pedaline, Greensboro, N.C., and David L. and Jamie L. Pedaline, East Rochester; six grandchildren, John Thielbahr III, Elkton, Md.; Alyssa Thielbahr, Iowa; Stephen J. Pedaline, Raleigh, N.C.; Charles R. Pedaline, Chapel Hill, N.C.; James R. Pedaline, Center Twp., and Robert D. Pedaline, East Rochester; a great-granddaughter, Camryn Pedaline, Hopewell Twp.; a sister, Theresa Bilotto, Hollidaysburg, Pa., and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Mary Fillipelli, and Louis and Joann Fillipelli, all of Patterson Twp. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester Twp. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. A Christian wake service will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
