Lucy B. Kronstain Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lucy B. Kronstain, 97, of Economy, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Concordia of Franklin Park Personal Care Home. The family blesses all of the wonderful people that cared for her. Born December 5, 1921, in Freedom, the daughter of the late Mike and Mary Borro of Freedom. She was a retired employee of the J. C. Penney Co. Lucy was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Conway, where she was a member of Christian Mothers and the Apostolate Committee. She was a longtime member of Economy Women’s Club where she held many offices, including past president. She was also a very active member of Conway Sr. Citizens. Lucy was a lifelong seamstress and a very avid pinochle player and in her day caught many Northern Pike and Walleye. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol K. and William Lindauere of Economy; two grandsons, Ryan John of Lisbon, Conn. and Dawson William of Madrid, Spain and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Kronstain, 2006 and six brothers and sisters, John Borro, Michael Borro, Dorothy Spagnola, Lenora Bruno, Mary Rose Early and Louise Kronstain. Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, PA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Conway, with Father Joe Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to Concordia of Franklin Park, Sewickley, Pa. or Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 1000 Third Avenue, Conway, PA 15027.
