    Jennifer J. Milne

    August 23, 1971 - April 9, 2022

    Jennifer Joy Milne, 50, of Aliquippa, formerly of Rochester, passed away April 9, 2022, in A.H.N. Wexford. Jen was born August 23, 1971, in Rochester. She is the daughter of Bonnie Hastie Milne of Rochester, and the late Thomas E. Milne, Sr.. She was a Special Education teacher with the Rochester Area School District, where she was also the former girls basketball, softball and bocci coach. Jen was Protestant by faith and was a graduate of Rochester High School in 1989 and received her B.S. Degree from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and received her masters degree in Special Education from Carlow University, Pittsburgh. Jen is survived by her wife, Petra A. Tallo, one sister and brother in law, Debbie K. and Larry Helton, brother and sister in law , Thomas E. Jr. and Debi Milne, her mother in law, Mary Ellen Tallo, a sister in law, Erica Tallo, seven nieces and nephews, Hannah Helton and her fiance, Dean Brooks, Luke Helton, Megan Bailey and husband Edwin, Jacob Milne and wife Rebecca, two great nieces, Evelyn Bailey and Cecelia Joy Milne and numerous cousins. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-8 in the William Murphy Funeral Home and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the Rochester Free Methodist Church, where officiating will be Jen's niece, Reverend Rebecca Milne of the Petersville United Methodist Church, Columbus, Indiana. Internment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Family wishes memorial contributions be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 4117 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. The family wishes to thank the Dr.'s and staff with AHN, especially Dr. Thomas Krivak and Dr. Casey Moffa for the care and comfort given to Jennifer over the 4 years that she fought ovarian cancer
