Coffee and cigarettes fueled many a ruthless card game played until the wee hours of the morning. In her later years, her passion became genealogy and tracing her family roots. She was predeceased by her brother, WWII veteran Clifford Herzog, and her sisters, Eleanor Trimble and Virginia Herzog.
