James F. Allread II

James F. Allread II, 79, of Pulaski Twp., passed away May 3, 2022 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born October 22, 1942 in Irondale, Ohio, he was the son of the late James F. Sr., and Betty S. Herzog Allread. He was retired from the Department of Public Assistance, Commonwealth of Pa, a member of the 1st United Presbyterian Church, Bridgewater, a member of the F & AM Lodge 229, Rochester, the PA Association of retired State Employees, a former Sergeant in the PA Army National Guard, a 1961 Graduate of Freedom High School and attended Geneva College, loved flying small airplanes and traveling, especially to Israel, and was an avid Ohio State Fan. He attended many functions with the Elders of the Church of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by a dear friend of over 50 years, Susan Gonzales, a brother in law, Marvin K. Niedergall; three nephews and nieces, M. Keith Niedergall, and his wife, Karen, Glenn Niedergall and his wife, Erin, and Dale Niedergall, and his wife, Avalon Dillon, and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene A. Niedergall. Jim’s wishes were to have a private family viewing, however friends are invited to attend his funeral service Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:30 PM in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester. Officiating will be Rev. Samson Covatch, assisted by Jim’s nephew, Glenn Niedergall. Inurnment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
