    Frank J. Carcaise

    March 18, 1929 - April 4, 2016

    Frank J. Carcaise, 87, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, in the Good Samaritan Hospice. Born March 18, 1929, in Rochester a son of the late John F. Sr. and Julia Detorre Carcaise, he was the retired owner of Frank J. Carcaise & Sons Construction, Inc. and owner of the former Westcar Associate Land Management. He was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester, but was attending the New Beginnings Nazarene Church of Monaca. He was a former member of the Rochester/Beaver Lions Club and the Rochester SOI. He was a lifetime member of the Rochester Twp. Fireman's Club. He was a builder of the Rochester and Freedom Area High Schools. He traveled nationwide building K-Mart Plazas. He was a member of the Bricklayer's Union Local 9 and he had built many of the banks, homes and churches in Beaver County including the Rochester Free Methodist Church. Frank built many things as well as restoring antique cars. Besides being a multi-tradesman, he enjoyed the outdoors and his camp in Potter County where he loved to hunt and fish and was also a former trap shooter. He was a member of the Beaver Valley Sportsman's Club, the Plymouth Club and Model A Club of Beaver County and also belonged to the Beaver County Car Club. He is survived by his wife, Angeline Farinacci Carcaise; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol J. Roush, Rochester; Cindy L. and Dr. Joseph Bozek, Rochester; Susan R. and Ernie Johnson Sr., Ohioville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas J. Carcaise, Rochester and Patrick R. and Elaine Carcaise, New Sewickley Twp.; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Carcaise, New Sewickley Twp.; Jennifer Roush, Salisbury, MD; Derick Roush, Ambridge; Jessica Yasher and her husband, Chris, Hershey, PA; Joseph Bozek, Rochester; Amanda Bellville, Ohio; Rev. Adam Johnson, Monaca; and Ernie Johnson Jr., Ohioville; four great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Blanche and Richard Tunno, Rochester; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel L. Carcaise, in 2004, Francis E. Carcaise, in 1958; a grandson, Jodi Bozek, in 1980; one brother, John F. Carcaise, Jr., in 1999; six sisters, Jenny Carcaise, Johanna Pizutti, Mary Tunno, Theresa Hardin, Antoinette and Julia Carcaise. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the New Beginnings Nazarene Church, 899 Jackson Ave., Monaca. Officiating will be his grandson, Rev. Adam Johnson. Interment will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Daugherty Twp.
