Emma R. Zickefoose

September 7, 1928 - April 30, 2021

Emma R. Zickefoose, 92, of Conway, passed away April 30, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born September 7, 1928 in Job, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edward R. and Della Z. (White) White. She was a housewife and homemaker, Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Laryngectomy Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burlen C. Zickefoose, Sr. in 1976. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa A. Zickefoose and Linda Higgins; a son in law, Howard A. Gabauer; six sisters, Irna Bridges, Connie Vance, Georgia Menis, Annabelle Butcher, Hazel White, Margaret Putzula; two brothers, Richard and Ralph White, and two grandsons. Surviving are three sons, Edward L. Zickefoose, Beaver, Timothy A. Zickefoose, and Burlen C. Zickefoose, Jr., both of Conway; three daughters and a son in law, Libby D. Gabauer, Diana Lynn Zickefoose (Anthony Len) all of Chippewa, Marsha E. and John Panek, Economy Borough; ten grandchildren, Jeff, Marta, Jason, Danielle, Michael, Chris, Jennifer, Amy, Stephen, and Emma; thirteen great grandchildren, Brandon, Brett, Ashton, Cody, Travis, Brianna, Caitlin, Katrina, Olivia, Jacob, Ian, Braden, and Ryan; one great, great grandson, Maddoxx, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester, where a service will be held Monday at 11 AM, officiating will be Rev. Bill Blume of Faith 2 Faith Ministries, Rochester. Interment will be in Economy Cemetery. With the Covid 19 concerns, masks and social distancing are required. The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver for the care and comfort given to our mom.
