Edward H. Majors, 75 of Rochester Twp., of which he was a life long resident in Noss Plan, passed away January 4, 2022 at his residence. He is now in heaven walking with God and his Debbie. Born October 19, 1946 in Rochester, he was the son of the late Harrison M. and Catherine Hrotic Majors. He was a retired employee with LTV Steel, Aliquippa, and retired from Heritage Valley, Beaver, as a respiratory Therapist, and also had worked at various other local hospitals. He was a member of the Christian Assembly Church, Ohioville, a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a 1965 graduate of Rochester High School, a loving and cherished devoted Christian who enjoyed movies, bus trips, and attending church when able as he was unable to drive due to medical conditions. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra M. Pasquale Majors in 1995. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Errol J. Majors in 2002, two sisters, a brother in law and sister in law, Donna Majors, Betty and John Liberty, and Patty Basar. He is survived by a sister in law and brother in law, Virginia “Sis” Majors Main and her husband, Gerald “Buck,” Ellwood City; three nephews, Ken Liberty and his husband, Brett Steward, Roy Ruckert, Shaun Majors and his wife, Erin; three nieces, Shawna Liberty, Tami Conrad and her husband, Jason, Carrie Moldovan and her husband, Tim; eleven great nieces and great nephews, Ashton Basar, Melissa, Matthew, and Kacie Winkle, Erica, Isaac, and Isaiah Majors, Leah, and Linsey Moldovan, Darrek and Justin Ruckert. Ed’s wishes were to be cremated. The public is invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4-6 pm with the service following at the Christian Assembly Church, Ohioville Borough. Officiating will be his pastor, Rev. William Anzevino. Inurnment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester. The family wishes memorial contribution be made to the Christian Assembly Church, 6241 Tuscarawas Road, Industry, PA 15052. The family wishes to thank Rose Biller, Fred and Cheryl Salvati, Wally and Rhonda Dorn, and all of Krepps family for their friendship extended to Ed over the years.
