Donna L. Rhodes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donna L. Rhodes 83, of Baden, peacefully went to be with her Lord Tuesday, March 15, 2022. During her last days, she was constantly surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mellie Carothers Mauk. Donna was born in Freedom, Pa. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 29 years David C. Rhodes, and her sisters and brothers in law, Margaret and Louis Dorn, Betty and Tom Joyce, Dorothy and Gilbert Leonard and her best friend and sister Peggy and Jack Goerman, her brother in law and sister in law Lamont and Darlene Rhodes. She is survived by her cherished sons and daughters in law, Daniel and Evie Rhodes of Ross Township and Drew and Michelle Rhodes of Monaca, her grandson Ryan Radovich of Bellevue, a granddaughter Jillian Rhodes of Monaca and numerous nieces and nephews and a grandog, Sophie. Donna was a devoted member of the former Freedom United Methodist church that merged and became the Unionville United Methodist Church. "Missy" Rhodes served as a Sunday school teacher, was on the church administrative council and visitation team. She was a true example of being humble and in serving Christ. She was always thinking of others, whether making Rice Krispie treats or helping neighbors get to Dr. appointments. She also kept in touch with her Freedom Bulldog roots and enjoyed joining classmates for monthly lunches. Donna was retired cook and night supervisor with the former Feltrop Nursing Home. Friends will be received Thursday from 3-7 in the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc. A service will be held Friday at 11, friends are asked to meet at church. Officiating will be Rev. Doug Myers. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. family wishes memorial contributions be made to Unionville United Methodist Church, 1297 Rt. 68 Rochester, Pa. ,15074. The family would like to thank the staff of West Hills health and Rehab., Gallagher Hospice and her roommate and friend, Jacqueline Moultrie for their kindness and compassion.
