David A. Hartley

December 3, 1954 - March 9, 2021

David A. Hartley, 66, of Slippery Rock Twp., formerly of New Sewickley Twp., passed away March 9, 2021 at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Twp. Born December 3, 1954 in Bellevue, PA, he was the son of the late James W. Jr. and Ruth A. Sills Hartley. He was a retired employee through the Cement Mason Union, Local #526, Pittsburgh. He was a 1973 Freedom High School graduate and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by one daughter, Allison J. Hartley, Sacramento, California; two sons and daughters in law, Zeke W. and Tiffany Hartley, New Sewickley Twp., and Cody J. and Jacqueline Hartley, Upper St. Clair; three grandsons, Joe J., Christopher W., and Jonathan J. Hartley, all of New Sewickley Twp.; two sisters, Deborah M. Hartley and Diane L. Hartley, both of New Sewickley Twp.; one brother and sister in law, Richard J. and Venesa Hartley, Tucson, Arizona; and a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Hartley in 2000. David’s wish was to be cremated, with no viewing or service. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
