He was always cracking a joke or making someone smile. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Poliak; a grandson, Nikkolas Poliak, and a cousin, Carol (Frederick) Skrlac, who was like a sister to him. Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Linda (Measel) Poliak of New Sewickley Twp.; a son, John M. Poliak, Chippewa; a daughter and son in law, Cheri and Brian Bionda, New Sewickley Twp.; and his son Bryan’s former fiancée Amber Torreance, Crescent Twp.; six grandchildren also survive, Brandon Bionda, Neville Island, Brittany Bionda and her fiancée, Justin Lentz, North Sewickley Twp., Camryn Poliak, Crescent Twp., Taylor Poliak, New Sewickley Twp., and Josh Steder and Jeremy Steder, as well as many loving cousins and friends.
