Charles A. Hamilton, Jr., 89, of Daugherty Twp., Gulbransen Heights, passed away March 25, 2021 in Hope Memory Center, Georgia. Born February 4, 1932 in Rochester, he was son of the late Charles A. Sr. and Rosella Graham Hamilton. He was a retired letter carrier for the New Brighton Post Office, Vice President of Branch 84 in Pittsburgh, Past President of Pennsylvania Association of Letter Carriers, of which he was a Political Activist, and Union Leader. He was a member and founding father of the Beaver County Model Railroad Club, a member of St. Cecilia R.C. Church, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, and was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty (Ganz) Hamilton. He is also survived by one daughter and son in law, Linda and James Lelak, Brooks, GA; one son and daughter in law, C.J. and Alice Hamilton, Summersville, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister and brother in law, Sally and Howard Hayes, Palm Harbor, Florida; one brother and sister in law, Graham and Fran Hamilton, Aliquippa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3-7 PM in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Cecilia R.C. Church, Rochester Twp. Due to the Covid concerns, face masks and social distancing are required. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton. The family wishes contributions be made to the Beaver County Model Railroad Club, 416 6th Street, Monaca PA 15061
