    Barbara L. Spade

    July 3, 1932 - July 27, 2016

    Barbara L. Spade, 84, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, in Providence Healthcare Center, Beaver Falls. Born July 3, 1932, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Frank and Eunice Radcliffe Engle, she was a retired clerk with the Stop N' Go Stores, East Rochester, New Sewickley Twp. and Monaca. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Rochester, an avid bowler and a fan of the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. Barbara loved and enjoyed her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald B. Spade, 1999; one son, Robert G. Spade; a grandson, Sam Spade, and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronald Engle, Frank "Bucky" and Marcella Engle, and Karl "Max" Engle. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawna (Dee) LaRose Mike and her husband Jim, New Sewickley Twp., and Roni Jo and her husband Paul Lawton, Industry; and a daughter-in-law, Dawn Spade, Brighton Twp.; nine grandchildren, Stacey Spade, McCall, Idaho; Jennifer Fawley and her husband Josh, Beaver Falls; Marcus Spade, and his wife Joy, Virginia; Lesley Spade, Florida; Justin and Grayson Dobrowski, Moon Twp.; Justin LaRose and his wife Katie, Brighton Twp.; Geofry Lawton and his wife Elizabeth, Bellevue, and Hannah Lawton, Industry; five great-granddaughters, Brenna, Sierra, Erin, Mia, and Farren; three great-grandsons, Logan, Bryce and Abram; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Engle and Jo Engle, and a lifelong beloved friend, Ina Braddock, East Rochester. Friends will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be her former pastor, the Rev. Edward Heist, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
