Anna M. Burick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rochester - Anna M. "Honey" Burick, 82, of Rochester, passed away Sunday, November 28, in Heritage Valley, Beaver. She was born January 13, 1939, in Latrobe, Pa. Daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Dofollo Lukon. Anna was a homemaker and a housewife, she was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester, Our Lady of the Valley Parish. She was a daily viewer of EWTN and Daily Mass Holy Rosary Chaplet of Divine Mercy. She was an avid bingo player. Anna is survived by her husband of 60 years, John B, Burick, also survived by four daughters and one son in law, Maryann and Mark Smolar, Donna L. Burick, all of New Brighton, Kathleen R. Pauvlinch of Brighton Twp., Cynthia E. Burick, of Rochester, five grandchildren, Tiffany and Harry Burick-Girting, New Brighton, Brandon and Rachael Pauvlinch, Wampum, Stephen Smolar, New Brighton, Bryan Pauvlinch, Patterson Twp., Nathan Smolar, of Philadelphia, two great grandchildren, Emma Driscoll and Liam Girting. Five brothers and three sisters in law, John and Rose Lukon, Joseph Lukon, Michael and Patti Lukon, Charlie Lukon, Robert and Julie Lukon, four sisters and a brother in law, Mary Frances Polinsky, Elizabeth and Bill Ankney, Theresa Bundy, Catherine Lukon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Lukon, a son in law, Ed Pauvlinch, two brothers in law, Stephen "Hep" Polinsky and Joseph Bundy. Friends will be received Friday, December 3, in the William Murphy Funeral Home Inc., Rochester, Pa., 349 Adams Street, from 2-4 and 6-8 and a mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, internment will be in St. Cecilias Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held Friday at 3:30 in the funeral home.
