    Ann Bostanic Dull

    June 26, 1928 - November 18, 2018

    Ann Bostanic Dull, 90, of Brighton Twp., and formerly New Sewickley Twp., passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, in Heritage Valley Beaver. Born June 26, 1928, in Freedom, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Adamchik Bostanic, she was a homemaker and housewife and had formerly worked at the Howard Johnson’s Restaurant in New Sewickley Twp. on the Turnpike. She was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa. She was a 1947 graduate of Rochester High School, and belonged to the Grand Lodge Railroad Auxiliary with UTU. She was a member of the Serbian National Federation. Ann was a loving caregiver and family babysitter also enjoying Bingo and cheering for the Steelers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey V. Dull Jr. in 1986; three brothers, Paul, George and Mike Bostanic; a sister, Evelyn Bostanic; brother-in-law, Chuck McConaughy; and sister-in-law, Barbara Bostanic. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Janet A. and J. Carl George, Economy Borough; and one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel H. and Janice T. Dull, Daugherty Twp. She was the loving gram to her four grandchildren, Julianne M. Hillson and her husband Matthew, Tampa, Fla.; Colleen K. Wiley and her husband Mark, Brighton Twp.; Jarred T. George and his wife Samantha, Conway; and Eric J. Dull, Daugherty Twp.; and was a loving great-gram to her five great-grandchildren, Brenden and Brianna Wiley, Taylor and Luke George, and Harper Hillson. Also surviving are one sister, Diane McConaughy, Hopewell; brother, Edward Bostanic, Daugherty Twp.; two sisters-in-law, Eliza Bostanic, Freedom, and Teresa Bostanic, New Sewickley Twp.; niece, Diane Yanchik and nephew, Sam Bulat, both of Hopewell; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Officiating is Father Branislav Golic. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
