Andrew B. Kostelnik Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Andrew B. Kostelnik, Jr. 77, of New Sewickley Twp., passed away May 17, 2022 at his home. Born July 17, 1944 in Clarksville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Andrew P. Sr. and Julia P. Kubica Kostelnik. He was a graduate of Redstone High School, Brownsville, PA, earned his Bachelor’s Degree from California University and received his Master’s Degree from Slippery Rock University. He was a retired Industrial Arts Teacher with the Freedom Area Middle School, a member of PSEA, the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, New Sewickley Twp., and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra K. Tressler Kostelnik. He is also survived by two sons, Bryan A. Kostelnik and his domestic partner, Terri Foote, Pittsburgh, and Matthew C. Kostelnik and his wife, Stacie, Ross Twp.; three grandchildren, Peter and Anna Vrettos, New Jersey, and James Andrew Kostelnik, Ross Twp. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer D. Kostelnik Vrettos, and a sister, Bernadette Rudez. Andrew’s wishes were to be cremated. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 AM on June 4, 2022 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, New Sewickley Twp. Officiating will be his Pastor, Rev. Sean Walters. Inurnment will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery, New Sewickley Twp. Arrangements are in the care of the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
