    Allan J. Radella

    January 6, 1946 - June 28, 2018

    Allan J. Radella, 72, of Rochester, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born January 6, 1946, in Sewickley, a son of the late Mike and Ann Tonkovich Radella, he was a retired employee of the Stone & Webster Company, and the Bechtel Construction Company, Shippingport. He was the owner of the former Radella’s School World, Rochester. He was Catholic by faith and was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a volunteer with the Rochester Salvation Army. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Linda J. Alimena Radella; two stepsons, Paul W. Schultz, Shiloh, IL., and Joshua M. Schultz, Manila, Philippines; three step-grandchildren, Sabrina Harbison, Shea and Xurik Schultz, all of Shiloh, IL.; a sister and brother-in-law, Millie and Neal Downing, Boston, MA; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Ethel Radella, Cranberry Twp.; four nieces and nephews, Mitchell Allan, Marjorie, Michael and Christopher Allan; one great niece, Trinity; two aunts, Mildred Kersey and Catherine Nicholson, and several cousins. Allan loved his canine companion, Whiskers, and two feline companions, Buddy and Grace. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. in WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester, where a blessing service will follow with Father Paul Kuppe, pastor of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001 or to Concordia Lutheran Ministry Inc., Good Samaritan Hospice c/o Beaver IPU, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
